FAFSA Day at VHS

VHS will host a FAFSA (free application for federal student aid) day on January 17th, 2017 from 9-3. Parents will need to call Ms. Tello in guidance to schedule an appointment. Representatives from Get2college will help parents and students fill out the fafsa for students planning to start college in August 2017. The number in guidance is 601-631-2800. Parents will need to bring the following information: a copy of their student's and their federal tax return for 2015, a copy of their student's and their driver's license, and a copy of their and their student's W-2 forms for 2015. The information you reported on your FAFSA, is used to calculate expected family contribution (EFC). Your EFC is used to determine your eligibility for federal student aid and may be used for institutional need-based aid or state financial aid.
